Tone Ranger guitars are built with more than wood and wire—they’re built with history. This instrument starts with urban California redwood for the body and headcap, salvaged from trees that once stood tall in city soil. The neck is cut from red gum eucalyptus, giving strength and character, while the Indian rosewood fretboard keeps every note smooth and full. Even the small touches have personality: turquoise inlays, copper side dots, and a hand-rubbed Walrus Oil finish that makes the guitar feel alive in your hands.
With a set neck, 24.75” scale, and D-shaped profile, it feels instantly familiar, while the 12” radius and Jescar 55090 frets make it fast and precise. At just under 8 pounds, it balances comfortably on the shoulder.
Electronics are dialed in for serious tone: a pair of Lollar ’63 Jazzmaster pickups capture everything from sparkling cleans to gritty edge. Two CTS 500k volume pots with treble bleed keep clarity at every level, while the rotary tone switch with Orange Drop caps opens up new tonal colors. A Switchcraft 3-way switch and PureTone jack make sure the signal path is rock solid.
Hardware is equally dependable: a Mastery bridge and tailpiece, Grover Sta-Tite tuners, and classic witch hat knobs against a tortoise shell guard. Nickel hardware ties it all together with timeless style.
Tone Ranger guitars tell their story through the woods they came from. When you plug in, you get to write the next chapter.
