Used Rickenbacker 4001 Custom Hand-Painted Electric Bass (1982) w/OHSC
Product Details
This 1982 Rickenbacker 4001 electric bass boasts an exceptional custom hand-painted finish inspired by the 1960s art collective 'the Fool', reminiscent of instruments played by iconic musicians such as Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce of Cream, and the Beatles. The detailed artwork suggests it was painted by a highly skilled artist, possibly during the mid to late 2000s. Its flamed maple neck is exposed to natural finish, enhancing its visual appeal and maintaining the classic Rickenbacker sound with a distinct growl. Despite a little play wear and slight tarnish on some chrome parts, this bass is in very good condition and maintains its integrity with mostly original parts. The bridge pickup is a Lollar, and while the originality of the neck pickup remains uncertain, it, along with the Schaller strap locks and additional Dunlop locks in the case, contribute to a well-maintained instrument ready for play. This bass has been cleaned, set up, and restrung by our professional technicians, respecting its unique artistic and musical value. - Custom hand-painted finish inspired by 'the Fool' - Flamed maple neck - Lollar bridge pickup - Schaller and Dunlop strap locks included - Weight: 9.9 lbs - Cosmetic condition: Very Good (minor tarnish on chrome parts, light play wear)
