Used Warren A. May Artisan Natural Mountain Dulcimer

This Warren A. May artisan mountain (lap) dulcimer was built in Berea, Kentucky and is dated 2/27/1978 on the interior label. It’s a simple, great-sounding traditional dulcimer with hardwood friction tuners and a ball-end string setup, making string changes quick and easy. Our techs noted light surface scratches and a small amount of finish remaining on a few fret areas from the original build, but it plays and sounds very nice overall—an excellent vintage, locally-made Kentucky dulcimer for folk, traditional, and old-time styles.
