The BOSS XS-1 Poly Shifter brings studio-grade pitch shifting into a compact stompbox that’s easy to drop on any pedalboard. Powered by 24-bit AD conversion with BOSS’s proprietary Adaptive Focus method and 32-bit DA conversion, the XS-1 delivers crystal-clear signal with outstanding dynamics and ultra-low noise. A 48 kHz sampling frequency ensures pro-level audio quality, whether you’re shifting chords, single notes, or creating new textures altogether.

Dialing it in is simple. The BALANCE and SHIFT knobs let you blend and control your pitch-shifted tones, while dedicated PEDAL MODE and SHIFT DIRECTION switches give you flexible performance options. A rugged footswitch and CHECK light (which doubles as a battery indicator) keep things reliable on stage.

The XS-1 is built to last, with buffered bypass, a tough metal chassis, and flexible power options. Run it for up to 3 hours on a single 9V battery, or plug in a BOSS PSA adaptor for worry-free gigging.
