Keeley NocPurrne Reverb – Andy Timmons
B’s Music Shop Exclusive Edition (Featuring Tiger & Wrigley)**
The NocPurrne is the newest collaboration between Keeley Electronics, Andy Timmons, and B’s Music Shop — a follow-up to our beloved Mews Driver. Inside, it’s the exact same circuit, firmware, and audio engine as the Keeley Nocturne… but outside? You get a far better look: Andy’s own cats, Tiger (white) and Wrigley (calico), illustrated in a limited run available only through B’s Music Shop.
This is the reverb Andy Timmons actually dreamed up with Keeley — a new space built from the DNA of his famous Halo delay sound. Everything great about that lush bloom is here, but reimagined as a massive, expressive reverb with zero rhythmic cross-talk. It feels alive under your fingers, blooming with every pick attack and settling into a halo of rich harmonic color.
Nocturne Mode:
Think Halo-style ambience but stretched into a reverb universe. Notes “breathe” and bloom as if layers of harmonic vapor are rising behind you. No repeats, no clutter — just enormous, floating atmosphere. It’s spacious without losing clarity, and it responds beautifully to soft vs. hard picking.
Spring Mode:
A Keeley trademark. Warm, surf-adjacent splash when pushed, but also capable of mellow tank movement for blues, classic rock, and clean playing. The modulation control doubles as “spring age,” letting you dial in anything from new-tank tightness to vintage wobble.
Plate Mode:
A studio-grade plate inspired by the mid-70s Austin City Limits stereo tube plate reverb — a literal piece of recorded-music history. Smooth top end, rich stereo width, and a polished shimmer that never gets brittle. This is the one that instantly makes leads feel expensive.
Whether you’re chasing cinematic ambience, old-school tube spring character, or clean studio plate sheen, the NocPurrne does it fast and does it musically.
Andy Timmons is known for expressive lead work, touch-sensitive dynamics, and melodic phrasing — all of which heavily influenced the feel of the Nocturne engine. His earlier collaboration with Keeley (the Halo Dual Echo) is widely recognized for its ability to create ambient bloom that trails beautifully behind each note.
The NocPurrne takes that same blooming concept and reshapes it as a pure reverb — no delay repeats, just the atmosphere he wished he could always access.
